Hah Christ...

So after a blowout in our living room and a week and a half of waiting for a part to repair my almost-decrepit tower, I am now finally coming back swingin'.

Wanna get some games going on the weekend?

Yo dudez, how's the apartment life/school year been going? Things are going just swell in Cleveland.

But, the more important news, LucasArts Tweeted yesterday that EVERY Dark Forces and Jedi Knight game is coming to Steam and Direct2Drive on Wednesday. Fucking bitchin', amirite??

Yeah, but that's been expected since they started re-releasing Monkey Island. What I'm more excited about coming from them is their new platformer. It's been ages since they've worked on original properties. It looks like someone over at LucasArts has finally realized that "Hey, maybe we don't need to attach the Star Wars license to everything. Maybe our strongest work has, historically, been something other than a brand exercise."

They should just fucking release a port of X-Wing vs. TIE fighter.

In other news, it is my wish that by the time our lease is up, the apartment will have become saturated in quiet malice, such that future tenants would feel and unearthly cold and harbor spite for all things upon entrance.

In other, other news, Arkham Asylum was awesome. It was short, even on Hard, but it still felt deliberate and measured rather than rushed, which is good.

I suppose. I actually have yet to play Monkey Island, but it's definitely on my "to do" list.

As for Arkham Asylum, I played the demo about two-dozen times, it's definitely one phenomenal game. However at the moment I don't have the spare green to pick it up, since I just spent quite a bit on some very nice surround-sound headphones :)

Oh, and O *totally* know what I'm getting all of you for Christmas. Yep, you're all getting the same goddamn awesome thing. Trust me, you'll thank me.

Yeah, I saw that. Sucks that it's only one episode.
