I've done rudimentary play-testing, running some sample characters with very, very basic powers against against a battery of tests of various types including combat (vs. puzzle monsters, brutes, masterminds, etc.,) and skill (tests versus the impassable locked door, the guard playing the fool, the unknowable secret in a stocked library etc.,) and it all works fairly well; the only major parts of the game that aren't as elegant as I'd like are the skills.
Aside from that it's simply a matter of fiddling with the numbers and making sure everything lines up in a way that conveys the intended sentiment for any given game.
And yeah, anytime this weekend really. Saturday works just fine.
Me and Kyle were wondering how early you guys would be willing to start. We still want to run our game with Alex C later on in the night, around 7ish. So would it be possible to start around 2 or 3ish?
Never mind. I feel like a jerk doing this, but I got offered a sizable shift at work for the day, and since I'm not exactly in a position to be turning down money at the moment...
Sunday afternoon until 6 and Tuesday evening would be my next suggestions.
I tried calling today but got no answer... and I dont know when you guys are free to look at it.. I'm free all week except wednesday. So either lemme know when you guys are free and I can call, or one of you can set something up and lemme know.
I checked them out earlier, before we even looked at the first apartment on E Park Pl.
They had lied on the craigslist ad; on the phone I was told that their properties only include heat, and you can check their site and see the same thing. That may have changed (I would guess not). Without water it evens out to the other prop we saw on Friday.
Can we just come to an agreement here? All of the properties aren't infinitely available, and the one on Capitol was nice. I'm more than willing to accompany you, Alex, to the open house today at 10:00-noon, but I'd like to get on this one right away.
The Capitol one is right there on the bus line, and there's a shortcut around Shorewood High that only makes it about twenty minutes walking distance to UWM, so it's hardly something we can't deal with.
I also know a guy that lives like a block away from that one and he has no complaints.

I scheduled a look at the AtidProperties one at Cramer; Cody tagged along after I was able to secure an appointment today.
