Ok so I got some ideas I stormed up here. So you guys read these over ask questions and hopefully we can decide what people want to do on Tues day Ok?
- Characters are a group of reavers haunting the coasts in search of a ancient artifact that could bring all their desires to them. Or could it?
- This one is my favorite of them all. Characters are a bunch of petty highway men who happen upon something that could change it all for them. This could be a event object or the like
- Charcters are the chosen champions of a alliance of gos (evil or good the party choses) but the alliance is either attempting to change the flow of the world to let their gods walk the earth. If you were good you'd be like fuck that thosae bitches cant be doing that
- charcters are different essences of a scattered god and must find a way to become whole agian
Like I said the second one is my favorite but the first one is col to. I'm not sure about the others. It's up to you guys man leave some comments and we'll see where this goes.

All of them are suitably quirky, and though there would be some hurdles to overcome, I'm sure they all could be played with a minimum of fuss.
My vote's for the highwaymen thing too. I abhor the idea of playing some lowly peasant who can't tell the difference between a fist-sized ruby and a turnip, but if we agree on a couple parameters for character generation it'd be fine with me.
Two questions.
First: if it's an object, how are we splitting it three (or however large the group of brigands is) different ways?
Second: if it's an event where five teenagers with attitudes get supernatural powers, how much of a difference is that going to be from casting spells? And can we hunt down fellow brigands who also got powers, but use them for less agreeable purposes?
mkay, my vote is for the corsairs / reavers one, cuz i STILL wanna be a pirate (YARRRRRR!!!!) or the highwaymen one as well. Both just because I like stealing from the weak and giving to the soon to be rich!
Well lets put it this way if it was an object like say a ring of 3 wishes that woould be easy. Or would one of you chump the other two out? I'm just using this as a example here. As to an event what would happen if by oh chance you holigans got cutsody of the dukes daughter eh? Again just a thought.
With this highway men thing I was thinking of the down on the luck, no respect given evrything goes wrong type folks. I was hoping for a air of awesopme and comic relief like in The Goon (good read by the way) So you see what I'm trying to get at here.
As to the corsairs thing that's up in the air two it would all depend on the fgeel you guys were looking for ya know.
I am all for a pulp-action session rife with shameless humor, bitter irony and over-the-top action.
